He has a 13-year strong knowledge, broad assessment and observational experience in grant contracts management, procurement and procedures through reviewing proposals, budgets, negotiations, formulation and issuing of contracts, financial reporting and actual overseeing disbursement, tracking, monitoring utilisation, reconciling of grants as well as providing information, guidance and training on grants management, cost reasonableness (value for money) and addressing compliance issues by tactfully issuing performance reports and queries leading to reduction and avoidance of unallowable and conflict of interest expenditures. Peter has a proven ability to set up effective, risk-free internal control systems which rely heavily on instilling a financial integrity in all employees, people and subcontractors.
